From New York, NY, to Hull, Yorkshire.

I'm going to New York in March, and I can't wait! Wow, the metropolistic capital of the world! More foreign adventures beckon with this 'Working In The USA' module. I'm just beginning to panic a bit. I really need to start applying to some more companies this month. Hopefully I'll be in New York again, or Boston, MA. or Washington, D.C, and hopefully doing a job in the media industry. Hopefully.

Moreover, 2007 marks the 200th anniversary of fundamental abolitionist successes in Britain in relation to slavery and the slave trade (if you don't know what, you should). To mark this milestone, Wilberforce House in Hull is being refurbished and is due to open to the public again in March. I shall confirm the exact date as soon as it becomes known. I intend to be there no more than a week after it opens. Wow, what a place!

In a strange, academic way I'm almost as exited about going to Hull as I am about going to New York!

Yours, wherever you may be,
Daniel C. Wright
